For the Public

The Student Farm serves the public several ways. Numerous guests visit the farm through a variety of programs each year. Hundreds of grade school children visit through the Children's Garden program, and many other visitors come to learn about our other activities, for workshops or for special tours.

The farm offers a hands-on sustainable agriculture summer course each year that attracts students nationally and internationally.

Staff and students from the farm also participate in an array of educational and public service activities off campus in collaboration with other UC units and a wide range of educational and sustainable agriculture organizations.

Student Harvests, the farm's CSA/subscription farming-program, produces 40 baskets of delicious, healthy, organic, student-grown vegetables, herbs and fruits for its subscribers each week.
